I saw this wreath in a magazine the other day I fell in love. So much in love that I decided to head to the dollar store for supplies and to break out the glue gun (it hasn't been used since we were in Florida) and give it a go. The inspiration wreath is so much better I know, but I am pretty proud of mine, skeleton and all.

Fall leaves

We spent a lovely day hiking among the colorful leaves on Sunday, ok "day" is a bit of an exaggeration, we spent a few hours and then we went to my parents where the kids could play in the hose and wash off the dirt from our hike. I would think kids would love being outside and spend as long as they could wandering the wilderness, but not our wussy bunch (it could be that I let them wear flip flops and shorts and we walked through some gnarly brush that may or may not have drawn blood). Well at least Joel and I had a good time torturing our kids with the great outdoors and we had awesome food of course, you can count on Joel for that.

LotoJoel

Joel did LOTOJA again this year, riding 206 miles from Logan Utah to Jackson Wyoming in one day. He finished the race despite being super sick and tired. Joel is amazing and I can't think of why this would even be something he would want to do... but he did and he made it through and I am so impressed with his tenacity and strength. Gray did an awesome job supporting him with food and his water bottles (I helped but she ran the operation).

My Kindergarten Babies

The boys started Kindergarten today! They were so cute walking to school with their friends. My babies are huge and officially not babies anymore (they tell me all the time "we are not babies!"). I have been dreaming of this day since before they were born. Walking home I had to fight away the tears (my tears can be counted on the first day of school no matter how much I try to avoid it... I am a sentimental fool), it is a bitter sweet day. I can't stop thinking about Gray's first day of Kindergarten and how quickly time has gone since. We are excited for this next chapter in our lives.
