Carving pumpkins and decorating cupcakes at Marin and Jack's. I am having a sugar hang over today from all the "clean up" of cupcakes last night. Amazing how many half eaten cupcakes were needing my help. Gray and the teen/tween posse went out to harass the neighbors with their premature trick or treating. They actually came home with some candy and only a couple stories of slammed doors in their faces.

The Mists of Avalon
I recently finished reading The Mists of Avalon. The book is about the Arthurian legend from the female perspective of Aurthur's mother and sister and other female influences. So facinating and thought provoking for me. I loved this book and highly recommend it... however daunting the almost 900 pages might be.Oct 13, 2009
Twins 5th Birthday!
Happy 5Th Birthday to Ridge and Holden! Joel made them the coolest cake complete with a treasure island and a pirate ship. Not too bad for starting last night at 9 pm, he is our personal Ace of Cakes :) The boys are so happy to FINALLY be 5... wonder how long before they are counting down to 6, hopefully they give it a month or two :)Oct 5, 2009
Stitches
Gray is a cut above the rest :) She got snagged by a couch this weekend and had to have stitches. It was pretty gross watching Dr Jill sew up the fat layer and then the outer layer of skin. Gray was pretty freaked out and was very happy once the numbing gel did its job so she could relax. Both Juniper and Gray had the same Dr work on their wounds in one week... a family that is stitched and stapled together has a heck of a time explaining to DCFS :)
