New England

We had such a great time on our trip to New England & Quebec.
New York - In Manhattan we were lucky enough to have a hotel right near central park (thanks Dad) and were able to explore the city with the kiddos easily. We wandered the park, Times Square, Battery Park, and many other places. The best time for the boys were the taxi rides, they were convinced that the taxi drivers were professional race car drivers, Gray loved Times Square at night in its full glory.
New Jersey - Uncle Craig set us up in a great hotel where the kids could swim and burn some energy (thanks Uncle Craig!!). We had a lot of fun hanging out with Craig and he was a great sport for hanging out with our motley crew. We saw Ice Age 3D and went to dinner and met again for breakfast.
Connecticut - Back yard rocket launching, clover hunting and lunch with Kori, Jason and Mags.
Massachusetts - Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mike took us to Boston. Fenway Park and the Freedom trail were the highlights.
New Hampshire - We had a great time staying at Sarah's and Mike's, thank you guys for being so hospitable. The Manago's (Mike's parents) had a BBQ for the 4th which was so much fun. The food was so good and very Italian. We asked to be adopted but I get the feeling we will just have to live vicariously through Sarah.
Vermont - Austin and Emily have such a great farm! We played in the river, brook and barns and rode the horse (Beauty) and pony (Peaches). One of my favorite places on our trip was Montpelier VT, I would love to live there. It was so much fun hanging with the Gray's and experiencing their world, thanks for everything guys!
Montreal Canada - Austin and Emily live just a couple hours away from Canada so we took the opportunity to take our trip out of country. As soon as we crossed the border it felt like we were in France. Thankfully Gavin the 3 yr old speaks French (just ask him) and he was able to get us through the trip. We took a duck tour and wandered Old Montreal. Hot Wire hooked us up with a great hotel downtown and we were able to experience the city from the heart of things.
Maine & Rhode Island - We left early from Austins Saturday to cut over to Maine and drive the coast down to New York so we would hit all the states in New England. It was great for Gray to experience the actual places she has spent the last year learning about in school.
All in all a great and successful trip. We were able to see and do so much!

Outlander

I am halfway through this book and I am in love. It has been awhile since I have been so enthralled with a book and I am so glad I finally listened to Joni and Jessica and started reading it. Thank ye bonny lasses :)
Finished the book... it is definitely one for adult reading only and only adults that can get through some pretty rough parts.

Gray Family Photo

This week was spent with my siblings and our kids. It was fun watching our kids play and spend time together. This year the family picture was stress free... I don't think anyone busted out trucker language or cursed my mother and her obsession with getting us together in a photograph. I believe this is the Christmas picture or one similar so I hope she doesn't mind the sneak peek being posted.

Saturday June 6th at 6pm I am having a jewelry party for Elicia. Below are some pictures of the collection Gray and I have of her stuff. She has lots, lots more and will even do custom items if you let her know what you are interested in. She has lots of Disney Princess stuff for the little girls.
The jewelry is magnetic and easily switched from rings to necklaces, earings or hair clips. I have mine on the refridgerator when I am not wearing it. Please come to the party:

This is the boys idea of posing for a picture.
