Fountain Green Eagles

Shelly's blog has been updated with lots of pictures of a fun trip we took earlier this year to Fountain Green. We had a blast eagle watching, sledding, playing games and of course eating :) Kristen took some great photos of the majestic birds, such a cool experience.

Mika (Mee-ka)

This is our new puppy Mika (she is almost two and is already trained so I say "puppy" but she is on the older side of puppyhood). She is so good and mellow, really my dream dog. She walks the boys several times the day, even when they think they are the ones doing the walking (she is super patient with them). Gray and Joel love her too, so I would say that we have won the dog lottery and I am so happy that she is ours!

When Holden grows up... (updated)

"Mom when I grow up I don't want to be a doughnut maker anymore, I want to be a Ninja thief that steals pictures from stores"

Tonight Holden decided that being a Ninja thief would be too much work and he thinks that he would enjoy making stuffed animals instead. Ridge however has decided that he would like to be a Ninja Policeman and track down Ninja thief's.

Pet fish for dinner!?

Gray's fish Popeye has gone to a better place, coincidentally the night of his passing we had fish for dinner. Half way through eating Ridge stabbed a chunk of salmon and asked if we were eating Popeye... I couldn't resist telling him that yes we were eating Popeye :) "SERIOUSLY!? You're kidding right mom!?"
Needless to say I admitted it was a joke and he thought it was funny (hopefully this won't need to be discussed in future therapy sessions).
